I'm a graduate student working in publishing, continuing my life-journey as a writer, trying to find time to read great works of literature, and blogging my way toward earning the right to be called a true netizen.

Curious to know what the writers of tomorrow have to say about life and literature? Want to know where I think technology is taking the publishing world (writers and readers included)? Go check out Fringe Magazine's blog.
blue·stock·ing: a woman having intellectual or literary interests. --Mirriam-Webster Online
The first post on Blue-Stockings was published in August 2004 with every intention of commanding immediate critical notice from the literary elite the world over. Luckily, as the views of its author has changed, the blog has also changed its purpose. Blue-Stockings is now a forum for more professional topics, and in the next year intends to participate in discussion about technology's role in global culture and education, highlight current events in the publishing industry, follow the author's attempts to broaden her perspective through career development and networking, and publish critical reviews of masterworks and new-found literature alike.
**In the August 2008, the site will be going through many major changes in order to ensure that it is fully accessible based on Section 508 standards, as well as more usable for the average reader. **
